Getting There

• Car

  From the center of Kampot, head south on National Road 3 (NR3) towards Kep. Continue driving for about 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Road 1A. Turn right onto Road 1A, and drive for approximately 5 kilometers. Look for local signs directing you towards Starling Ridge (H8VG+C8X). Keep an eye out for landmarks like the Kampot River on your left as you approach. The entrance to Starling Ridge will be on your right. Parking is available on-site.

• Public Transport (Tuk-Tuk)

  In Kampot, you can hire a tuk-tuk to take you to Starling Ridge. Simply negotiate the fare with the driver before starting your journey; expect to pay around $5-$10 depending on your negotiation skills and the distance. The driver will take you via National Road 3 and Road 1A, similar to the car route. Make sure to show the driver the location (H8VG+C8X, Krong Kampot) if they are not familiar with Starling Ridge.

• Motorbike Rental

  For a more adventurous option, consider renting a motorbike in Kampot. Rental shops are plentiful, and costs typically range from $5 to $10 per day. From the rental shop, navigate south on National Road 3 (NR3) towards Kep for about 10 kilometers. Once you reach the intersection with Road 1A, turn right and continue for about 5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating Starling Ridge and follow them to the entrance. Ensure you have a valid license and wear a helmet for safety.

• Bicycle Rental

  If you're feeling energetic, renting a bicycle is a great way to reach Starling Ridge. Many guesthouses and shops in Kampot offer bicycle rentals for $2 to $5 per day. Follow the same initial route as with the motorbike: head south on National Road 3 (NR3) for about 10 kilometers, then turn right onto Road 1A. Keep pedaling for roughly 5 kilometers until you see signs for Starling Ridge. Be prepared for some traffic and enjoy the scenic views along the way!
