Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving your own car or renting one, head towards Krong Kampot. Once you reach the main road in Kampot, look for the junction with the street signs for 'Kampot River' and 'Kampot Market.' Turn onto the road leading to the river. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you see a sign for The Bear Bungalow on your right. Turn into the bungalow's driveway where you will find parking available.

• Tuk-Tuk

  If you prefer to take a tuk-tuk, you can easily find one near Kampot Market or other tourist spots in the town. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'The Bear Bungalow.' The ride should take about 10 minutes and cost around $2 to $5, depending on your negotiation skills and the time of day. Make sure to confirm the price before starting your journey.

• Motorbike Rental

  Renting a motorbike is a popular way to explore Kampot. You can rent a bike from several places in the city for about $5 to $10 per day. From the rental location, head towards the Kampot River, and then follow the same route as you would by car. It’s a fun way to enjoy the scenery while making your way to The Bear Bungalow.

• Public Bus

  If you are coming from Phnom Penh, there are several bus companies that operate services to Kampot. Once you arrive at the Kampot bus station, you will need to take a tuk-tuk or a moto taxi to The Bear Bungalow, which will cost about $2 to $5. Show the driver the address (Kampot 10.600174, 104.161324) to ensure they take you to the correct place.
