From Kampot town center (e.g., the Durian Roundabout), the most common way to reach Champa Lodge is by tuk-tuk. Negotiate a fare beforehand, typically around $5-$7 for the approximately 5km journey. Direct the driver towards the Kampot River, heading in the direction of Teuk Chhou District. The lodge is located in Kampong Kreang Commune, along the riverbank. The ride takes about 10-15 minutes, offering scenic views of the countryside. Ensure the driver knows the lodge's name, as it's a well-known establishment.
Motorbike
If you've rented a motorbike in Kampot, head south from the town center towards the Kampot River. Follow the riverside road (Riverside Road) for approximately 5km, heading towards Teuk Chhou District. Champa Lodge will be on your right, just before Kampong Kreang Commune. Be mindful of traffic and road conditions, especially during the rainy season. Motorbike rentals typically cost $5-$10 per day.
