Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Kandal province. Head towards National Road 1 (NR1) and follow the signs to Phnom Penh. Continue on NR1 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Phnom Penh. Look for signs directing you to the riverfront area. Once you reach the river, take a left turn and drive along the waterfront until you reach a ferry terminal. From there, take a ferry to Silk Island, which is just across the river. The ferry ride is short and offers scenic views of the Mekong River.

To reach Silk Island using public transportation, start at the main bus station in Kandal. Look for a bus heading to Phnom Penh. Once you arrive in Phnom Penh, disembark at the central market (Phsar Thmey). From the market, you can take a tuk-tuk or a moto-taxi to reach the ferry terminal along the river. Make sure to tell the driver you're going to Silk Island. After arriving at the ferry terminal, purchase your ticket for the short ride across the river to Silk Island.
