Car
From Kep Province, start your journey by heading west on National Road 3 (NH3) towards Kampot. After about 30 minutes of driving, you will reach Kampot town. Here, you will need to follow the signs to the ferry terminal, which is located at the Kampot River. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, you can purchase a ticket for the ferry to Phú Quốc. The ferry ride takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Ensure you have cash (Vietnamese Dong or US Dollars) for the ferry ticket, which usually costs around 300,000 to 500,000 VND (approximately $13 to $22 USD).

Public Transportation
For those without a car, you can take a local bus or taxi from Kep to Kampot. Buses leave from the central bus station in Kep and take about 30 minutes to reach Kampot. Tickets cost around 15,000 VND (approximately $0.65 USD). Once in Kampot, proceed to the ferry terminal to buy your ferry ticket to Phú Quốc. You can also find taxis or tuk-tuks in Kampot that can take you directly to the ferry terminal if you prefer a more direct option.

Once you arrive at the ferry terminal in Kampot, you will board the ferry bound for Phú Quốc. Make sure to arrive at least 30 minutes before the departure to secure your spot. The ferry offers beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding islands, so enjoy the ride! Upon arrival in Phú Quốc, you will disembark and can arrange transportation via taxi or motorbike rental to your accommodation or desired destination on the island.
