The ferry ride takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Ensure you have cash (Vietnamese Dong or US Dollars) for the ferry ticket, which usually costs around 300,000 to 500,000 VND (approximately $13 to $22 USD).

    For those without a car, you can take a local bus or taxi from Kep to Kampot. Buses leave from the central bus station in Kep and take about 30 minutes to reach Kampot.
