Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Preah Sihanouk town, head southeast on Ekareach Street (also known as the main street) towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto National Route 4. Continue on this route for approximately 10 km, then turn left onto the road leading to Ream National Park. After about 5 km, follow the signs to Ream Beach. There is a parking area near the beach, which is usually free of charge.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Ream Beach by public transport, you can take a tuk-tuk or a shared taxi from Preah Sihanouk town. Head to the main taxi station located near the central market. Look for taxis heading to Sihanoukville or Ream National Park. The fare should be around $5-$10 per person, depending on the number of passengers and negotiations. The ride will take about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at Ream National Park, you may need to hire a local tuk-tuk to take you the remaining distance to the beach, which should cost around $3-$5.

• Bike

  For the more adventurous, renting a bicycle in Preah Sihanouk is a great way to reach Ream Beach. There are several rental shops in the town, and prices typically range from $2 to $5 per day. From the town, you will follow the same route as if driving; head southeast on Ekareach Street and then onto National Route 4. The total distance is approximately 15 km, which may take about 1-2 hours depending on your cycling speed. Be cautious of traffic and road conditions.
