Getting there

Car

From Preah Vihear, head southeast on National Road 64. Continue for approximately 36 kilometers until you reach the junction with National Road 6. Turn right onto National Road 6. After about 50 kilometers, you will arrive in Krong Siem Reap. Follow signs to Angkor Archaeological Park. The Pre Rup temple is located within the park. Please note that there is an entrance fee of approximately $37 per person for a day pass to the park. Once inside, follow the signs to Pre Rup, which is about 1.5 kilometers from the main entrance.

Public Transportation

From Preah Vihear, take a local bus or shared taxi to Siem Reap. The journey takes around 2-3 hours, and costs approximately $5-$10 depending on the mode of transport. Once in Siem Reap, you can take a tuk-tuk or taxi to Angkor Archaeological Park. The fare for a tuk-tuk to the park is around $10-$15. Upon entering the park, you will need to purchase a ticket, around $37 per person for a day pass. Follow the signs to Pre Rup, which is about 1.5 kilometers inside the park.

Motorbike Rental

Rent a motorbike in Preah Vihear for about $5-$7 per day. Head southeast on National Road 64 towards Krong Siem Reap. After approximately 36 kilometers, turn right onto National Road 6. Continue for about 50 kilometers to reach Siem Reap. From there, follow the signs to Angkor Archaeological Park. Remember to pay the entrance fee of around $37 per person for a day pass.
