    If you're traveling by car, start from the capital of Adamawa Plateau, Ngaoundéré. Take the N1 highway heading north for about 90 kilometers. You will pass through the town of Pitoa. After Pitoa, continue on the N1 until you reach the junction with the D18 road. Turn left onto the D18 road and follow it for approximately 40 kilometers. You will eventually come to a fork in the road; take the right fork which leads you towards Mokolo. Continue straight until you reach the coordinates PRR3+XMQ, Mokolo, which is the location of Montagne DOLOLOM. Ensure you have a GPS device or a map app handy, as road signs may not always be clear.

  • Public Transportation

    For those opting for public transportation, take a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) from Ngaoundéré to Mokolo. The journey typically costs around 3,000 CFA francs and takes approximately 2-3 hours. Once you arrive in Mokolo, you may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (called 'benskin') to get to Montagne DOLOLOM, as it is a bit off the main road. The ride should cost around 1,000 CFA francs.
