Walking
Start from the central market of Bafia, located at the intersection of Avenue de la République and Avenue de la Liberté. Head south on Avenue de la République towards Avenue des Fêtes. Continue straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue des Travailleurs. Walk for approximately 800 meters until you come to a fork in the road. Take the left path at the fork, which will lead you towards a more rural area. Continue walking for another 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs pointing to Lac de Bayomen. Follow these signs, and in about 20 minutes, you will arrive at Lac de Bayomen.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can start your journey from the central market of Bafia. Head down Avenue de la République, then take a left onto Avenue des Fêtes. Continue to the roundabout and take the second exit onto Avenue des Travailleurs. After about 2 kilometers, you will find a road leading off to your left that is marked towards Lac de Bayomen. This route is approximately 4 kilometers in total and should take you around 15-20 minutes by bike.
Public Transport (Motorbike Taxi)
From the central market in Bafia, you can take a motorbike taxi (locally known as 'benskin') to Lac de Bayomen. The ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic, and will cost around 500-1000 CFA francs.
