The Nyong River, stretching approximately 690 kilometers (430 miles), is a significant waterway in Cameroon, West Central Africa. Rising 40 km east of Abong Mbang in the northern rainforest, it flows almost parallel to the Sanaga River before emptying into the Gulf of Guinea.
