Start from the central market in Edea, known as 'Marché Central'. Head south on Rue de la Liberté until you reach the intersection with Avenue de l'Indépendance. Turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You will pass several local shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the 'Edea Hospital' on your left. Continue straight until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Route de Makas.

Continue on Route de Makas for about 2 kilometers until you reach a sign indicating the direction to Lac d'Ekouadjom. This will be a small sign on the left side of the road. Follow the path indicated by the sign, which leads you off the main road and through a more wooded area.

After about 500 meters on the path, you will reach a fork. Take the left path which leads you closer to the lake. The surroundings become more scenic, with trees and local flora. Continue for another 500 meters until you arrive at the shores of Lac d'Ekouadjom. You should see the lake ahead, and there may be some locals around enjoying the area.
