Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the center of Foumban, near the main market. Head northwest on Avenue de la Réunification towards Rue de la République. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the intersection with Rue de la Liberté. Turn left onto Rue de la Liberté and walk for about 500 meters until you see a sign for Foyèt. Follow the signs as this road leads directly to Foyèt. After approximately 2 km, you will see the entrance to Foyèt-jipouoche on your right.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Foumban. Begin your journey from the town center, cycling northwest along Avenue de la Réunification. This road will take you through local neighborhoods and past some small shops. After about 1 km, take a left onto Rue de la Liberté. Continue cycling for around 2 km until you reach the outskirts of Foyèt. Look for the signs indicating Foyèt-jipouoche, which will be on your right-hand side.

  • Motorbike Taxi (Okada)

    Find an Okada (motorbike taxi) near the main market in Foumban. Negotiate a fare with the driver and instruct them to take you to Foyèt-jipouoche. The driver will navigate through local streets, taking Avenue de la Réunification and then turning onto Rue de la Liberté. The ride should take approximately 15-20 minutes depending on traffic.
