    From Kalamaloué National Park, begin your journey by heading northeast on the main road towards the town of Maroua. The distance is approximately 70 kilometers and will take about 1.5 hours. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as there are limited fuel stations along the route. Upon reaching Maroua, follow signs to Waza National Park, which is located about 30 kilometers to the north of Maroua. This last leg will take approximately 30 minutes. Keep an eye out for the entrance to Waza National Park, which is marked clearly.

    If you prefer to travel by public transportation, you can take a bush taxi from Kalamaloué to Maroua. The taxi will drop you off at the main taxi station in Maroua. The fare is typically around 2,000 CFA francs. From the Maroua taxi station, you can find shared taxis heading to Waza National Park. The fare for this leg is about 1,000 CFA francs.
