Car
From the main entrance of Waza National Park, head south towards Mora on the N1 highway. Continue driving for approximately 70 kilometers, which should take around 1.5 hours. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating Mora; you'll pass through a few small villages along the way. Once you reach Mora, follow signs to Kerawa. L oue is located in Kerawa, approximately 15 kilometers northeast of Mora. Look for the entrance to the water park which is well-marked. There may be minor toll fees for using the highway.
Public Transportation
From Waza National Park, you can catch a shared taxi (also known as a 'bush taxi') to Mora. These taxis usually leave from designated taxi stands near the park entrance. The journey to Mora takes about 1.5 to 2 hours and costs around 1,500 CFA francs. Once in Mora, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (called 'benskin') to take you to Kerawa, which is about a 30-minute ride and should cost around 1,000 CFA francs. Be sure to confirm the price before starting your ride.
Private Vehicle Hire
If you prefer a more comfortable option, consider hiring a private vehicle with a driver from Waza National Park to L oue in Kerawa. This can be arranged through local tour operators. The journey will follow the same route to Mora, and then continue to Kerawa, totaling about 85 kilometers. The cost for hiring a vehicle can vary but expect to pay around 25,000 to 40,000 CFA francs depending on the vehicle type and negotiation.
