Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Maroua, head towards the Grand Marché (Main Market). As you approach the market, look for the main road leading east. Continue walking straight along this road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Avenue de l'Indépendance. Turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance and continue for another 500 meters. You will pass several shops and local eateries on your way. Keep walking until you reach the roundabout, and from there, take the third exit onto Rue de l'Unité. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer, and you will see a sign pointing towards YONKOLA. The destination will be located at the coordinates JCH4+38, which is a short walk from the main road.

• Bicycle

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops near the Grand Marché. Start from the market and take the main road east for about 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the intersection with Avenue de l'Indépendance, turn left and cycle for approximately 500 meters. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout and take the third exit onto Rue de l'Unité. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer to arrive at YONKOLA located at JCH4+38.

• Motorbike Taxi (Benskin)

  To take a motorbike taxi, find a Benskin near the Grand Marché. Inform the driver that you want to go to YONKOLA. They will take you along the main road towards Avenue de l'Indépendance. After about 1.5 kilometers, they will turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance and continue for about 500 meters before taking you to the roundabout. From there, they will navigate to Rue de l'Unité, where YONKOLA is located at JCH4+38. This ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
