Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Mbouda, head towards the main market (Marché de Mbouda). Once you reach the market, locate the main road (N6) that leads towards Dschang. Follow the N6 road for about 3 kilometers. You will see signs indicating the direction to Chutes de la Métché. As you approach, you will pass by some local shops and food stalls – feel free to stop and ask locals for directions as they may provide additional helpful information. Continue on the N6 until you reach the entrance to Chutes de la Métché, which will be marked by a sign.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Mbouda. Start from the central square and head towards the main market. From there, take the N6 road heading towards Dschang. The ride is approximately 3 kilometers. You can expect a scenic route with local views. Keep an eye out for signage directing you to Chutes de la Métché as you ride. Upon arriving, you should find a small parking area for bicycles and a clear path leading to the falls.

• Public Transport (Motorbike Taxi)

  Find a motorbike taxi (commonly referred to as 'bendskin') in Mbouda. Inform the driver you want to go to Chutes de la Métché. The ride should take around 15 minutes. The driver will navigate through local streets, and you may see various attractions along the way. Make sure to have small change ready for fare payment. Once you arrive, the motorbike taxi can drop you off near the entrance.
