Car
From any location in the North Region, head towards Douala. Use the N3 highway, which is well-marked. Once you reach the outskirts of Douala, follow signs for Limbe and the Mount Cameroon area. After approximately 40 kilometers, you will see signs for Bonakanda. Turn onto the road leading to Bonakanda (this may be a local road so be attentive). Continue straight until you reach the coordinates 655J+P2, Bonakanda, which is the location of Hut 3. There should be parking available near the base of the trail.

Take a bus or shared taxi from your current location in the North Region towards Douala. Most buses will have signage indicating their final destination. Upon arriving in Douala, you will need to transfer to a bus headed for Limbe. Ensure to inform the driver that you wish to stop at Bonakanda. The ride to Bonakanda should take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Bonakanda, you can ask locals for directions to Hut 3, which is located at coordinates 655J+P2. Expect to pay around 2,000-3,000 CFA Francs for the bus fare.
