Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Yaoundé. Navigate towards Rue de la Réunification and head southeast for about 1.5 km. Continue straight as the road becomes Avenue Georges Pompidou. After approximately 5 km, turn left onto Avenue de l'Indépendance. Follow this road for about 3 km, and you will see signs leading to Eco Park. The entrance to Eco Park will be on your right.
Public Transportation
For travelers using public transportation, head to the main bus station in Yaoundé. Look for a bus or shared taxi heading towards Mbalmayo. The fare is typically around 1000 CFA francs. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Eco Park stop. From there, it is a short walk to the entrance of Eco Park, which is well-signposted.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Yaoundé. Start at the city center and head southeast on Rue de la Réunification. Continue on Avenue Georges Pompidou for approximately 5 km. Be cautious of traffic, and ensure you have a map or GPS. Once you reach Avenue de l'Indépendance, follow the signs to Eco Park. The ride will take about 30-45 minutes depending on your pace.
Walking
Walking to Eco Park is only recommended if you are staying nearby. Starting from the center of Yaoundé, head down Rue de la Réunification towards Avenue Georges Pompidou. Continue walking southeast for about 5 km. After reaching Avenue de l'Indépendance, follow the signs to Eco Park, which is approximately 3 km further on your right. This journey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
