Getting There

Car
From your location in Waza National Park, head towards the park's main exit. Take the D6 road heading southwest. Continue on the D6 for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the junction with the N1 road. This will take around 1 hour depending on road conditions. At the junction, turn left onto the N1 road. Follow the N1 for about 30 kilometers until you see signs for Kalamolou National Park. The entrance to the park will be on your left. Please be mindful of local traffic regulations and wildlife crossing the road.

If you are using public transportation, start by taking a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) from any nearby town within Waza National Park towards Maroua. The fare should be around 1,500 XAF.
