If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Douala. Head northwest on Rue de l'Indépendance towards Avenue de Gaulle. Continue on Avenue de Gaulle, which turns into Route Nationale 3 (N3) as you leave the city. Drive for approximately 20 km until you reach the PK 21 marker. From there, follow the signs to Massoumbou village, and after about 5 km, you will arrive at the IFP Agrotech Cameroon Botanical Garden. Ensure you have local currency for potential tolls along the way.

To reach the botanical garden using public transportation, first go to the main bus station in Douala. Look for a bus or shared taxi heading to Bafoussam. Get off at the PK 21 stop. From PK 21, you will need to take a motorcycle taxi (locally known as 'benskin') for about 5 km to reach the botanical garden. Be sure to negotiate the fare before starting your ride, typically around 1000-1500 CFA francs.
