Getting There

  • Public Transportation

    From Buea, the closest major city, take a shared taxi (taxi-brousse) towards the Molyko area. Many taxis head towards Limbe and pass near the park entrance. Inform the driver you wish to get off at Mount Cameroon National Park. The fare is approximately 500-1000 CFA francs. From Douala, take a bus to Mile 17, then proceed to the park. Upon arrival at the park entrance, you may need to pay an entrance fee.

  • Walking

    If you are near the park entrance, walking is an option. From the center of Buea, head towards Molyko Road and follow signs for Mount Cameroon. The walk takes about 1-1.5 hours. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
