Located in the Quartier du Lac area of Yaoundé, the monument has quickly become a focal point for both locals and visitors.The imposing 15-meter-high structure consists of two semi-circular arcs, one above the other, adorned with the phrases 'I love my country Cameroon' and 'J'aime mon pays le Cameroun'. These arcs intersect on a ball, symbolizing Cameroon's prowess in sports. Atop this intersection rests a carved map of Cameroon supported by two hands, representing the collective effort in building the nation. The monument is further enhanced by eight water pools with fountains illuminated by bright, colorful lights, and surrounded by benches for visitors.The monument serves as a reminder of Cameroon's journey towards independence and the importance of national unity.
