If you are driving from Annapolis Royal, head west on Highway 1. Continue on Highway 1 for approximately 40 km until you reach the junction with Highway 101. Take the exit towards Highway 101 East. Follow Highway 101 for about 20 km and take exit 26 towards Digby. After exiting, turn right onto Highway 303 and follow it for about 15 km until you reach Tiverton. Look for signs for Balancing Rock Trail. Once you arrive at Balancing Rock Trail, you can park in the designated area.
Public Transportation
Start by taking a bus from Annapolis Valley to Digby. You can check Maritime Bus schedules for the latest routes and timings. Once you reach Digby, you may need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to get to Tiverton, as public transport options may be limited. The taxi ride from Digby to Tiverton takes around 15-20 minutes. Upon arriving in Tiverton, follow local signage to Balancing Rock Trail.
Walking
If you're already in Tiverton, you can walk to Balancing Rock from the village center. Head south on Main Street until it merges into Balancing Rock Trail. Follow Balancing Rock Trail for about 3 km, and you will see signs directing you to the Balancing Rock attraction. The walk takes approximately 30-40 minutes.
