Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start by heading towards the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1). Depending on your starting point in the British Columbia Interior, you will need to navigate to this highway. From Kelowna, take Highway 97C East to connect with Highway 1. Follow Highway 1 East through the Fraser Valley, passing through towns such as Chilliwack and Hope. Continue driving until you reach the Metro Vancouver area. Once in Vancouver, follow signs for Highway 1 East towards Burnaby and then continue on Highway 1 until you cross the border into Alberta. After crossing into Alberta, take the Highway 2 South towards Calgary, and then connect to the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) heading east towards Regina. Continue on this highway until you reach the Manitoba border, then follow the signs towards Toronto. Upon arriving in Toronto, navigate to the downtown area and find parking near 100 Queen St W, where the Toronto Sign is located. Note that parking fees may apply in downtown Toronto.

  For those opting for public transportation, you can take a bus from various locations in the British Columbia Interior to Vancouver. Check with local bus companies such as Greyhound or Ebus for schedules and fares. Once in Vancouver, head to the Pacific Central Station to catch a VIA Rail train or a domestic flight to Toronto. If you choose the train, it will take significantly longer, and you will need to book your tickets in advance. Upon arriving in Toronto, use the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) subway or streetcars to reach the downtown area. The closest subway station to the Toronto Sign is St. Andrew Station on the Line 1 (Yonge-University). From there, it's a short walk to 100 Queen St W. Be prepared to pay for subway fares, which can be purchased at machines or via the TTC app.
