Yonge-Dundas Square: The Heartbeat of Toronto

Getting There

• Subway

  If you are near a subway station, take the subway to the Dundas Station on Line 1 (Yonge-University). Exit the train and follow the signs to the exit. Once you are on the street level, you will be at the intersection of Dundas Street and Yonge Street. Yonge-Dundas Square is located directly at 1 Dundas St E, just a short walk away.

• Streetcar

  If you are near a streetcar stop, you can take the 505 Dundas streetcar. Board the streetcar heading towards the east and get off at the stop at Yonge Street. From the stop, walk south on Yonge Street for about 2 minutes; Yonge-Dundas Square will be on your left at 1 Dundas St E.

• Walking

  If you are already in the downtown area, Yonge-Dundas Square is easily walkable. Look for Dundas Street and head towards the intersection with Yonge Street. Once you reach the intersection, you will see Yonge-Dundas Square directly across the street at 1 Dundas St E. It's a vibrant area with lots of shops and attractions.

• Bus

  If you are near a bus stop, check for buses heading towards the downtown area. You can take any bus that stops at Yonge Street. Get off at the stop closest to Dundas Street. After disembarking, walk towards the intersection of Yonge and Dundas Streets. Yonge-Dundas Square is right at the corner of that intersection at 1 Dundas St E.
