    Caribou Falls Lodge is located approximately 70 miles north of Kenora, Ontario. From Kenora, follow Highway 17 east to Highway 596 north. Continue on Highway 596 until you reach the intersection with the road to Caribou Falls Lodge. Follow the signs to the lodge. Note that the final portion of the road may be unpaved. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for gravel roads. Parking is available at the lodge.

Located on the English River below the Caribou Falls dam, the lodge provides access to some of the region's most pristine fishing waters. The English River system, including Tetu Lake, is teeming with walleye, northern pike, muskie, smallmouth bass, perch, and whitefish. The lodge caters to both seasoned anglers and novices, offering guided fishing experiences and well-equipped boats.Beyond the exceptional fishing, Caribou Falls Lodge offers a comfortable and relaxing wilderness experience. Guests can choose between American Plan dining (3 meals included) or housekeeping cabins with fully equipped kitchens. Modern amenities include wireless internet and satellite TV in the main lodge and some cabins. The lodge also provides opportunities for wildlife viewing, with bald eagles and black bears frequently spotted in the area. In the fall, adventurous sportsmen can partake in black bear and whitetail deer hunting.The lodge has a rich history, with Halley's Camps using the location as a gateway to the English River since 1963. Over the years, it has evolved from a simple parking spot for fishermen to a full-fledged lodge with rental cabins and a store.
