Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from downtown Toronto, take the Gardiner Expressway West. Continue on the Gardiner until you reach the exit for Park Lawn Road. Turn left onto Park Lawn Road and follow it until you reach Lake Shore Boulevard. Turn right onto Lake Shore Boulevard and continue driving until you see Martin Goodman Trail on your left. Turn onto Martin Goodman Trail; Sheldon Lookout will be on your right. There is no parking directly at the lookout, but street parking may be available nearby.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Sheldon Lookout using public transit, start your journey by taking the TTC subway Line 1 (Yonge-University) to Union Station. From Union Station, transfer to the 509 Harbourfront streetcar heading west. Ride the streetcar until you reach the stop at 'Park Lawn Road.' From there, walk south on Park Lawn Road towards Lake Shore Boulevard, then turn left onto Lake Shore Boulevard. After a short walk, you will find Martin Goodman Trail on your left. Walk along the trail, and Sheldon Lookout will be on your right. A one-way fare on the TTC is currently $3.25 CAD.

    If you're cycling, you can take the Martin Goodman Trail directly to Sheldon Lookout. The trail runs along the waterfront and is easily accessible from various points in the Golden Horseshoe.
