Allan Gardens is easily accessible by public transport. From Sherbourne Station on the Bloor-Danforth Line, take the #75 Sherbourne bus south to Sherbourne at Gerrard Street East. A path into the gardens starts at the northwest corner of the intersection. Alternatively, from Queens Park or College Station on the Yonge-University-Spadina Line, take the #506 Main Street Station streetcar east to Carlton Street at Jarvis Street. The gardens are just south on Jarvis. TTC fares are approximately $3.30 CAD for a single adult fare.

Allan Gardens occupies an entire block in downtown Toronto, bordered by Sherbourne, Carlton, Gerrard, and Jarvis Streets. From College Station, walk east on Carlton Street to Jarvis Street, then south to the park entrance. The walk is approximately 8 minutes. From the Eaton Centre, walk east along Dundas Street East, then turn north onto Jarvis Street. The gardens will be on your left. This walk is approximately 15 minutes. No costs are involved for walking.
