If you are traveling by car, start by taking a ferry from Salt Spring Island to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island. From there, drive north on the Trans-Canada Highway (BC-1) to the city of Nanaimo, then take the ferry from Nanaimo to Horseshoe Bay, on the mainland. Once on the mainland, continue on BC-1 towards Hope, and then take the Trans-Canada Highway (BC-1) eastbound. This will lead you to the border of Quebec. Upon entering Quebec, continue on Autoroute 20 towards Montreal. Once in Montreal, take Autoroute 40 toward Trois-Rivières, then continue on Route 155 north to reach La Mauricie National Park. The total driving time is approximately 14 hours, not including ferry wait times.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start by taking a ferry from Salt Spring Island to Swartz Bay. From Swartz Bay, take a bus to downtown Victoria. From Victoria, take a BC Ferries bus to the Tsawwassen terminal. Then, take a ferry to the mainland and transfer to a Greyhound bus heading to Montreal. Upon reaching Montreal, you will need to take a local bus or train to Trois-Rivières. Finally, from Trois-Rivières, you can take a local bus or taxi to reach the entrance of La Mauricie National Park. This journey may take over 24 hours and requires careful planning for bus and ferry schedules.
