Family History Tour in Halifax

My brother and I spent a lovely 5 hours with Carol. She met us at a different location than originally planned and had to search a bit to find us!!!! She was very well organized and had obviously done some research for our specific stay. She followed some of her “normal” route, but did deviate as we had specific requests of what to see. She offered us water, treats and a nice surprise. She also dropped us off at a last minute change to our schedule. We have also had contact with Gary and he was very, very helpful. We would certainly recommend Seascape Excursions for a tour around Halifax.

Comfortable Private Driver, Limited Local Insight

The experience of having a private driver instead of sitting on a tour bus with 45 other people was definitely worth it! Our driver was incredibly kind, professional, and an excellent driver. We really appreciated the comfort and flexibility of having a private experience. The only thing we felt was missing was more local knowledge and information about the areas we were visiting. Aside from a short audio recording played on the way to our destination, there wasn’t much of a guided tour aspect. We would actually classify this experience as more of a private transportation service than a true guided tour. We would have loved to hear more about the local history, culture, and sights along the way. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and felt it was worth the money for the convenience and comfort of having a private driver. Just keep in mind that if you’re looking for an informative, guided tour, this may not fully meet those expectations.

We had the best tour with Nav. This was so much better than the regular cruise excursion. We weren’t rushed and we were taken to places my husband who is disabled could get around. Found me a gluten free restaurant for lunch in Lenenburg. Loves Peggy’s Cove even though it was so windy. Beautiful. Nav was amazing and we highly recommend him
