Starting from the Halifax Citadel, head down towards the intersection of Citadel Hill and Sackville Street. Continue straight on Sackville Street until you reach the intersection with Barrington Street. Turn left onto Barrington Street and walk for about 10 minutes. The Old Burying Ground will be located on your right at 1541 Barrington St, identifiable by its stone entrance and historical markers.

From there, walk along the waterfront boardwalk until you reach the intersection of Lower Water Street and George Street. Turn left on George Street and proceed to Barrington Street.
