Starting from the Halifax Citadel, head down towards the intersection of Citadel Hill and Sackville Street. Continue straight on Sackville Street until you reach the intersection with Barrington Street. Turn left onto Barrington Street and walk for about 10 minutes. The Old Burying Ground will be located on your right at 1541 Barrington St, identifiable by its stone entrance and historical markers.

If you are near the Halifax Waterfront, head east towards the Historic Properties. From there, walk along the waterfront boardwalk until you reach the intersection of Lower Water Street and George Street. Turn left on George Street and proceed to Barrington Street. Turn right on Barrington Street and continue walking for about 5 minutes. The Old Burying Ground will be on your left at 1541 Barrington St.
Public Transit
If you are near the Halifax Public Gardens, take the Metro Transit bus #1 or #7 from the nearby bus stop. Ride for about 5-10 minutes and get off at the Barrington Street stop. From the bus stop, walk north on Barrington Street for about 2 minutes. The Old Burying Ground will be on your left at 1541 Barrington St.
