Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, head towards downtown Kingston. From Highway 401, take the exit for Highway 15 South toward Kingston. Follow signs for Kingston and merge onto Princess Street. Continue on Princess Street until you reach the waterfront area. You can find parking at the nearby municipal parking lots or on the street. The Kingston Waterfront is located at Waterfront Pathway, ON K7L 0A5. Look for signs directing you to the waterfront once you are in the downtown area.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  You can take the Kingston Transit bus service to reach the waterfront. Look for routes that head towards downtown Kingston. The closest stop is typically at City Hall, which is a short walk to the waterfront area. Once you arrive at City Hall, walk south on Ontario Street until you reach the Waterfront Pathway. The bus fare is approximately CAD 3.50 for a single ride.

• Walking

  If you are already in downtown Kingston, the waterfront is easily accessible by foot. From the Kingston City Hall, head south on Ontario Street, which will lead you directly to the waterfront area. The walk is about 10-15 minutes depending on your pace. Once you reach the waterfront, you can enjoy the scenic views along the Waterfront Pathway.

• Bike

  For those who prefer cycling, there are bike paths leading to the Kingston Waterfront. You can rent a bike from local rental shops in downtown Kingston. Follow the bike lanes on Princess Street towards the waterfront. There are bike racks available at various points along the Waterfront Pathway for you to secure your bike while you explore the area. Bike rental costs may vary but typically start around CAD 10 per hour.
