Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving to Camilien-Houde Belvedere, start by heading to downtown Montreal. From the South Shore (Montérégie), take the Champlain Bridge (Route 132) towards Montreal. Once on the island, follow signs for Autoroute 720. Take the exit for Rue de la Montagne and continue on Rue de la Montagne until you reach Boulevard René-Lévesque. Turn left onto Boulevard René-Lévesque and then make a right onto Avenue des Pins. Follow Avenue des Pins until it becomes Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges. Continue straight to Voie Camillien-Houde. The belvedere will be on your left, at 1576 Voie Camillien-Houde. Parking is available, but it may incur a fee depending on the time of year and day.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Camilien-Houde Belvedere using public transport, start by taking the Metro from any station in Montérégie to the Berri-UQAM station in downtown Montreal. From Berri-UQAM, transfer to the Orange Line towards Côte-Vertu, and alight at the Mont-Royal station. From the Mont-Royal station, you can either take a taxi or a bus. For the bus, you can take line 11 (Mont-Royal) towards Parc Mont-Royal. Get off at the stop on Chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges and walk up to Voie Camillien-Houde. The belvedere is about a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Be aware that bus fares are typically around CAD 3.50, and you can purchase tickets at any metro station.
