From anywhere in Montérégie, take the nearest major road heading towards Montreal. If you are coming from the south (like Longueuil), take Route 132 northbound. If you are coming from the east or west, you can take Autoroute 20 or Route 138. Follow signs for Lachine. Once you reach Lachine, head towards Chem. du Musée. The Lachine Lock is located at Chem. du Musée, Montréal, QC H8S 4H3. There is parking available nearby but be mindful that it may incur a fee, so have some change or a credit card on hand.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take the Exo commuter train to the Lachine station. From there, catch the 191 bus towards Lachine.
