Public Transit - Metro
Start your journey at any Metro station in Montreal. If you are near downtown, take the Green Line (Line 1) towards Angrignon. Transfer at Berri-UQAM to the Orange Line (Line 2) towards Côte-Vertu. Get off at the final stop, Côte-Vertu. From here, you will need to take a bus to Terrebonne. Head to the nearby bus terminal and take the 28 bus towards 'Terrebonne'. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Get off at the 'Terrebonne' stop. From there, it's a short walk to Île des Moulins, which is to the southeast along the river.

If you are closer to the eastern part of Montreal, you can catch the 141 bus from the Metro station at 'Assomption'. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Terrebonne' stop. The journey will take about an hour. Once you arrive in Terrebonne, you can follow the signs towards Île des Moulins, which is a short walk to the west along the riverfront.

For those who enjoy a longer journey, consider biking or walking along the Lachine Canal pathway. Start from downtown Montreal and head west along the canal. Continue along the path until you reach the area near the Jacques-Cartier Bridge. From there, follow signs for Route 125 towards Terrebonne. This route is approximately 35 kilometers and will take several hours, so plan accordingly.
