  • Metro

    Start your journey at any Metro station in Montreal. If you're near downtown, take the Green Line (Line 1) towards Angrignon. Get off at the Angrignon station. From Angrignon Metro, exit the station and walk southwest on Rue de l'Église until you reach Boulevard Monk. Turn left onto Boulevard Monk and continue walking until you reach Rue Notre-Dame. Turn right onto Rue Notre-Dame and follow it until you reach Canal St. The Saint-Gabriel Lock will be on your left along the Lachine Canal.

  • Bus

    If you prefer the bus, from downtown Montreal, you can take the 107 bus at the corner of Saint-Antoine and Peel. Ride the bus to the stop at Monk Boulevard and Notre-Dame. From there, walk west along Notre-Dame until you reach Canal St. Turn left onto Canal St, and you will find the Saint-Gabriel Lock along the Lachine Canal.
