Getting There

  • Metro

    If you're in downtown Montreal, head to the Berri-UQAM metro station. Take the Green Line (Line 1) towards Angrignon. Travel for 4 stops and get off at the Jean-Drapeau station. At Jean-Drapeau, transfer to the Yellow Line (Line 4) towards Longueuil-Université-de-Sherbrooke. Travel 2 stops and get off at the Parc Jean-Drapeau station. From there, walk south towards the Botanical Garden, crossing the bridge over to the mainland. The Montreal Botanical Garden will be straight ahead at 4101 Sherbrooke St E.

  • Bus

    From the downtown area, you can take the 24 bus from the Berri-UQAM station. Board the 24 bus towards 'Beaudry'. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'Botanical Garden' bus stop. The garden entrance will be right in front of you at 4101 Sherbrooke St E.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in the nearby Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie area, you can easily walk to the Montreal Botanical Garden. Head east on Sherbrooke St E, and continue walking straight. The garden will be on your left-hand side at 4101 Sherbrooke St E. This is a pleasant walk through the neighborhood.

    Montreal has a bike-sharing system called BIXI. Locate the nearest BIXI station and rent a bike. From downtown, bike east along the Saint-Antoine and then Sherbrooke St E. It takes about 20-30 minutes to reach the Botanical Garden, located at 4101 Sherbrooke St E. There are bike racks available near the entrance.
