Metro
To reach St-James Theatre at 265 Rue Saint-Jacques, start by locating the nearest Metro station. If you are near the Place-des-Arts station (Line 1 - Green Line), board the train towards Angrignon. Ride for three stops and get off at 'McGill' station. Once you exit the station, head towards the exit that leads you to Avenue des Pins. Continue straight until you reach Rue University. Turn left onto Rue University and walk until you reach Rue Saint-Jacques. Turn right onto Rue Saint-Jacques, and the St-James Theatre will be on your left.
Bus
If you prefer to take the bus, find a bus stop that services the 55 or 129 routes. Board the bus heading towards 'Centre-ville' (Downtown). Ride until you reach the stop at 'Saint-Jacques / Saint-Laurent'. From the bus stop, walk down Rue Saint-Laurent until you reach Rue Saint-Jacques. Turn left onto Rue Saint-Jacques and continue walking for a short distance. The St-James Theatre will be on your left at 265 Rue Saint-Jacques.
Walking
If you are close enough to walk to St-James Theatre, simply head towards Rue Saint-Jacques. Look for landmarks like the Old Port or the Notre-Dame Basilica as reference points. From the Old Port, walk north towards Rue Saint-Jacques. Continue on Rue Saint-Jacques until you reach the intersection with Rue Saint-Laurent. The theatre will be on your right at 265 Rue Saint-Jacques.
Bicycle
If you're using a bicycle, Montreal has many bike lanes. You can use the BIXI bike-sharing system. Find a BIXI station near you and rent a bike. Head towards the downtown area and find the bike lane on Rue Saint-Jacques. Follow this road directly to 265 Rue Saint-Jacques where the St-James Theatre is located.
