If you're near a Metro station, take the Green Line (Line 1) towards Angrignon. Get off at the 'Berri-UQAM' station. From there, transfer to the Orange Line (Line 2) and head towards Côte-Vertu. Get off at the 'Place-d'Armes' station. Exit the station and walk west on Notre-Dame Street. Vauquelin Place is located at 275 Notre-Dame St. East, just a short 5-minute walk from the station. You'll see the park on your right.

Find a nearby bus stop and look for buses heading towards Old Montreal. You can take the 55 or 129 bus. Make sure to get off at the 'Notre-Dame / Saint-Laurent' stop. From there, walk east along Notre-Dame Street for about 5 minutes until you reach Vauquelin Place at 275 Notre-Dame St. East.
