If you're in the heart of Old Montreal, you can easily walk to La Grande Roue de Montréal. Start at Place Jacques-Cartier, a central square. Head east toward Rue de la Commune E. Continue straight for about 5 minutes until you reach 362 Rue de la Commune E. La Grande Roue de Montréal will be on your left.

If you prefer public transit, you can take the STM bus. From Old Montreal, walk to the nearest bus stop at Place d'Armes (about a 10-minute walk). Take bus 361 toward Parc Jean-Drapeau. Get off at the stop 'La Grande Roue' which is just a short walk from the attraction. The bus fare is CAD 3.50, and you can purchase tickets at the vending machines at the bus stop.

For those who enjoy biking, you can rent a BIXI bike from one of the many stations in Old Montreal. Ride east along Rue de la Commune, and then turn left to head straight towards La Grande Roue. It's a pleasant ride along the waterfront, and you can return the bike at the nearest BIXI station once you arrive. The rental cost is CAD 5 for a single ride.
