Getting There

• Public Transit

  From Niagara Falls, head to the nearest bus stop for the Niagara Regional Transit. Take the bus route 50 (St. Catharines) from the Niagara Falls bus terminal. Stay on the bus until you reach the St. Catharines Terminal. This journey should take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once at the St. Catharines Terminal, transfer to bus route 4 (Port Dalhousie). Continue on this bus for about 15-20 minutes, and get off at the Port Dalhousie stop. The Port Dalhousie Range Front Lighthouse is a short walk from there; head southeast on Lakeport Rd toward the lake until you reach the waterfront.

• Walking

  If you're already in St. Catharines, you can walk to the Port Dalhousie Range Front Lighthouse. Start from St. Catharines Downtown and head east on St. Paul St toward Ontario St. Continue straight to merge onto Lake St. Walk north along Lake St, which will turn into Lakeshore Rd. Continue until you reach the waterfront at Port Dalhousie. The lighthouse will be located at the end of the road along the shore. The total walking distance is about 4 kilometers and will take you approximately 50 minutes.

• Bicycle

  For adventurous travelers, consider renting a bicycle in Niagara Falls. Use the bike lanes along the Niagara Parkway to cycle towards St. Catharines. Follow signs for the Waterfront Trail, which leads you along the lake. The ride will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace. As you approach Port Dalhousie, follow the signs directing you towards the lighthouse, which is situated on the waterfront. This route offers scenic views of the Niagara River and Lake Ontario.
