Car
If you're traveling by car, you'll want to take the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW) towards Niagara-on-the-Lake. From the QEW, take the exit for Niagara-on-the-Lake (Exit 38) and follow the signs for Niagara-on-the-Lake. Once you reach the town, continue along Niagara Stone Road (Highway 55) until you reach the intersection with King Street. Turn left onto King Street, and then take a right onto Mississagua Street. The Historic Light House is located at the waterfront overlooking the Niagara River at the end of Mississagua Street. There is free parking available in designated areas nearby.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from St. Catharines to Niagara-on-the-Lake. Look for the Niagara Region Transit bus service that runs regularly from the St. Catharines bus terminal to Niagara-on-the-Lake. The fare is approximately CAD 5. Once you arrive in Niagara-on-the-Lake, you can walk to the Historic Light House. Head towards Niagara Stone Road and follow it south to the waterfront, then turn left on Mississagua Street. The Light House will be at the end of the street. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance for return trips.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy cycling, you can bike from various locations in the Niagara Peninsula. There are bike paths along the Niagara Parkway that provide a scenic route to Niagara-on-the-Lake. You can start your journey from Niagara Falls or any point along the Parkway. Just ensure you have a bike lock for securing your bike when you reach the Historic Light House, which is located near the waterfront. The ride is approximately 15-20 km from Niagara Falls and offers breathtaking views of the Niagara River.
