Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Niagara Falls Visitor Center, exit the center and head towards the riverfront along the paved path. Follow the signs for the Niagara River. Walk along the river until you reach the intersection with River Rd. Turn left onto River Rd, and continue walking until you reach the Whirlpool Rapids Gorge. It should take approximately 30 minutes to walk this route.

From the Niagara Falls bus terminal, take the WEGO Green Line (the bus that goes to the Niagara Parks). Get off at the 'Whirlpool' stop. From there, it's a short walk to the Whirlpool Rapids Gorge. Follow the signs directing you to the gorge, which should take about 5-10 minutes.
