Getting There

  • Public Transport

    The Niagara Falls History Museum is easily accessible by public transport. Niagara Region Transit (NRT) routes 101, 102, 103, 104, 106, 107, 110, and the Red Line all stop within steps of the museum at the Main and Ferry Transfer point. As of July 1, 2025, a single ride on NRT costs $3.50. Transfers are free for two hours in any direction. Alternatively, the WEGO bus system, which connects major tourist areas, offers 24-hour passes for $13 (adult) or $9 (child) and 48-hour passes for $17 (adult) or $13 (child).

  • Walking

    The Niagara Falls History Museum is located approximately a 15-minute walk from Niagara Falls and the surrounding Clifton Hill tourist area. From Clifton Hill, walk east along Ferry Street. The museum will be on your left, just past Sylvia Place. A walking tour of the Lundy's Lane Battlefield begins at the museum.

  • Parking

    There is a parking lot located on Sylvia Place to the south of the Museum. On-street parking is available on Ferry Street and the surrounding side roads. There are also three city lots in the area. Metered parking costs around $1.50 per hour. Monthly leased parking is also available.
