Housed in a 98-year-old building that once belonged to Canada's Department of National Defense, the museum showcases artifacts from the Navy, Army, and Air Force, including uniforms, badges, helmets, gas masks, and firearms. The museum aims to increase awareness of the efforts of soldiers and the contributions of men and women on the home front. Visitors can explore exhibits featuring newspaper clippings, photographs, and a variety of military artifacts. A WWII Flight Simulator, known as the Link Trainer, is being rebuilt as a functional display. The museum also features a traveling exhibit, Black Military History of Niagara, honoring Black servicemen and women.The museum's collection may appear eclectic, but it provides a thought-provoking glimpse into military heritage.
