The Niagara Falls Park Act of 1885, championed by Premier Oliver Mowat, paved the way for its creation. Sir Casimir Gzowski, a Polish immigrant, played a crucial role in the park's development.Today, Queen Victoria Park is renowned for its meticulously maintained gardens, rockeries, and floral displays. In spring, over 500,000 daffodils burst into bloom, followed by magnificent magnolias and tulips. Summer brings carpet-bedding displays and a profusion of bedding plants, including fuchsias, lantanas, cannas, and coleus.     Walking

    From the Clifton Hill area, walk south along the Niagara Parkway. The park is directly accessible from the Parkway, offering stunning views of the Falls as you approach. No costs involved.

    Public Transport

    Take the WEGO bus (Green or Blue Line) to the Table Rock Centre stop. From there, Queen Victoria Park is a short walk north along the Niagara Parkway. A 24-hour WEGO pass costs $13 CAD for adults and $9 CAD for children (ages 3-12).

    Taxi

    From Niagara Falls Bus Terminal, a taxi ride to Queen Victoria Park is approximately 8 minutes and costs $20-$24 CAD. Taxis are readily available at the terminal.

    Parking

    If driving, parking is available at the Queen Victoria Place Parking. The parking fee is $36 CAD for the day. From the parking lot, the park is a short walk away. During peak season, satellite parking may be in effect, with shuttle service to Table Rock Centre.
