Car

If you're driving from anywhere in the Ottawa Valley, head towards Ottawa city center. From Highway 416, take the exit for Highway 417 East towards Ottawa. Continue on Highway 417 until you reach the Nicholas Street exit. Merge onto Nicholas Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Range Road. Turn left onto Range Road, and you'll find Strathcona Park at 25 Range Rd, Ottawa, ON K1N 8J3. There is free parking available along Range Road and nearby areas.

Public Transportation

To reach Strathcona Park using public transit, take OC Transpo bus route 5 or 7 towards downtown Ottawa. Disembark at the 'Laurier / King Edward' stop. From there, it's a 10-minute walk: head east on Laurier Avenue, then turn left onto Range Road. Continue walking straight, and you'll arrive at Strathcona Park. Note that a one-way fare for OC Transpo is approximately $3.75 CAD (as of October 2023).

Bicycle

If you're cycling in the Ottawa Valley, you can take advantage of the extensive bike paths. From downtown Ottawa, follow the Rideau Canal bike path and merge onto the bike lanes that lead toward Range Road. Once you reach Range Road, continue south until you arrive at Strathcona Park at 25 Range Rd, Ottawa, ON K1N 8J3. Be mindful of traffic rules and wear a helmet for safety.

Walking

If you're already in the Sandy Hill area or nearby, you can walk to Strathcona Park. From the nearest bus stop on Laurier Avenue, walk east on Laurier Avenue, then turn left onto Range Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will reach Strathcona Park. The park is open from 5 AM to 11 PM daily, making it an excellent spot for an early morning or evening stroll.
