Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Pembina Valley. Head south on Highway 3 towards Morden. Continue on Highway 3 for about 20 kilometers (approximately 15 minutes). Upon approaching Morden, take the exit toward Colert Road. Follow Colert Road for about 5 kilometers, and Lake Minnewasta will be on your right at 100 Colert Rd, Morden, MB R6M 1V3. There is no entry fee to access the park.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, check for the local bus service from Pembina Valley to Morden. Once in Morden, you may need to use a taxi or rideshare service to get to Lake Minnewasta as public transport options may be limited. The taxi ride should take about 10 minutes and cost approximately CAD 10-15. Ensure to check the local bus schedule for the most accurate timing.
Biking
For the adventurous, biking from Pembina Valley to Lake Minnewasta is a great option. Follow the same route as cars, starting on Highway 3. The distance is about 20 kilometers, which should take roughly 1-1.5 hours depending on your biking speed. Ensure you have a helmet and follow all traffic rules. Once you reach Morden, turn onto Colert Road, and Lake Minnewasta will be approximately 5 kilometers ahead.
