Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Old Quebec, head south on Rue Saint-Louis until you reach Avenue Honoré-Mercier. Turn left onto Avenue Honoré-Mercier and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rue des Carrières. Turn right onto Rue des Carrières, and follow it until you reach the Plains of Abraham entrance at Rue de la Paix. The park will be on your left.

  • Public Transit (Bus)

    From the central area of Quebec City, you can catch the RTC bus number 800 or 801 from the Gare du Palais bus stop. Travel for about 10-15 minutes to the stop named 'Plains of Abraham.' Once you get off, walk a short distance toward the main entrance of the park, which will be right in front of you.

  • Walking from the Citadel

    If you are visiting the Citadel, exit the fortification and walk down the hill toward Avenue Calixa-Lavallée. Turn left and walk towards the Avenue des Premiers-Forges. You will see the entrance to the Plains of Abraham directly ahead. This is a short and scenic walk that should take about 10 minutes.

  • Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride along the Dufferin Boardwalk. Start at the Dufferin-Montmorency Station and ride west along the boardwalk. When you reach the end of the boardwalk, follow the bike path signs leading to the Plains of Abraham. The entrance will be easily accessible from the bike paths in the area.
