Public Transit
If you are in downtown Regina, head to the nearest bus stop and catch the Route 8 bus towards the Southland Mall. Ride the bus for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the stop at 'Hwy 1 & Albert St'. From there, transfer to Route 9 towards the University of Regina. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop 'Hwy 1 & McCarthy Blvd'. Walk northwest along McCarthy Blvd for about 10 minutes until you reach the Pine Island Bridge, which will be on your left.
Walking
If you are starting from Wascana Park, head south towards the intersection of College Ave and McCarthy Blvd. Walk along McCarthy Blvd heading north for about 1.5 kilometers. Once you reach the intersection with Dewdney Ave, continue straight. The Pine Island Bridge will be located at the end of McCarthy Blvd, adjacent to the river.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the downtown area and head south on Broad St. Continue until you reach the intersection with College Ave. Turn right onto College Ave, then take a left onto McCarthy Blvd. Follow McCarthy Blvd north for about 2 kilometers until you reach the Pine Island Bridge. There are bike lanes along most of this route, making it a safe option.
